| Our SAP Solutions service line is currently looking for an experienced Enterprise SAP Applications Manager to work with a leading Retail company in New York City.
Position Summary: Reporting to the Director of Technology Services and Architecture, you will be responsible for SAP Application Architecture and the integration of SAP platforms into the overall Enterprise Applications environment. Key Responsibilities: · Create and communicate the strategy and roadmap of SAP Application Architecture. Anticipate, capture and incorporate requirements for SAP application architecture changes. · Work with other enterprise architects and business constituents to understand and address business process interdependencies and interfaces between internally and externally hosted SAP and non-SAP applications · Establish and enforce architecture standards and principles. · Collaborate with outsource provider and service delivery teams to achieve performance and scalability requirements for the SAP environment. Forecast and manage demand. · Identify current and projected limitations or risks for the SAP environment. Recommend options to address. · Evaluate emerging SAP Application technology. Formulate recommendations on adoption. · Participate or lead architectural reviews as part of the project management lifecycle. · Participate or lead solutions development. Required Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience · At least 9 years of experience in application architecture (MUST HAVE) · Strong experience in heterogeneous application environment · Demonstrated experience with large SAP implementations and upgrades (MUST HAVE) · Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture frameworks, SAP business processes, SAP technology and SOA.
