Program Manager - Oracle HRIS/Payroll
Our Client, one of the largest Global Publishing and E-Learning companies, is looking for a Senior Program Manager for their Oracle HRIS initiative for their US Operations. The primary focus of this program will be to consolidate multiple payroll systems currently being used. This is going to be an open ended consulting position based out of Old Tappan, NJ, with an option of going perm.

Job Description:
· Lead the implementation of new HR/Payroll system for the US Operations. Deploy new technology to improve data collection through self-service and workflow; ensure accurate and timely reporting capabilities; facilitate data transmissions to vendors.
· Direct the development and implementation of various HR technologies to support business objectives. Participate in strategic decisions regarding the HR system function. Liaise with other functional teams to design strategies for future. Align and calibrate the HR technology deployment strategy with business unit strategy. This includes websites, portals, vendor applications and other technologies, which may or may not be related to the corporate HR system.
· Provide direction, management, leadership and guidance to staff. Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function, appropriate staff development and talent growth. Manage budget to support staff training, tools and development activities. Complete performance evaluations, assessments, development plans, salary planning and reward plans. Motivate teamwork and cross-team collaboration.
· Measure system performance, accuracy and compliance. Ensure all systems conform to internal audit, financial, Sarbanes-Oxley and other controls, as well as federal and state laws.
· Recommend and oversee technology purchases and services provided to multiple internal HR teams across the US. Negotiate contract language and pricing for 3rd party service providers.
· Develop, monitor and manage budgets across HR systems teams.
· This position will require approximately 20% travel.


Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
· Experience in system implementation and integration, which includes large scale project management; track record of successfully delivering HR software implementation projects within scope, time and budget tolerances.
· Knowledge of Oracle HR applications required; specifically Time and Labor, Advanced Benefits and Compensation Workbench.
· Knowledge of SAP HR and Ceridian Payroll Systems
· Knowledge of ADP software (preferably PayForce) and integration with HR applications required.
· Proficiency in MS Project..
· At least 7 years managing teams, including: direct responsibility for staff development and indirectly leading cross-functional teams.
· Lead a team of 8 to 9 project managers
· Experience working with offshore development firm preferred
· Project management training required; certification preferred
· Skilled in standard software development methodologies a plus
· Versed in data security and data privacy policies, procedures and laws
