A. Senior Sales Professional (NYC office)

We are actively searching for an experienced sales professional for our midtown Manhattan location. Your role will be to sell our consulting services and IT staffing services to IT decision makers and HR contacts in the areas of Traditional IT, Creative Services and Enterprise Solutions.

This is an opportunity at an established IT staffing firm with offices in Manhattan and Melville, Long Island. Procurement of new sales will be developed through reaching out to your current industry contacts, calling on leads you develop and that we provide from our extensive database, industry networking and various referral programs. A key to this role is the ability to track down decision makers at Fortune 500 clientele and develop trusting relationships quickly while offering our various staffing services.

Key responsibilities for this position:

  1. Building, maintaining and managing a target account list of hiring manager and technical contacts.
  2. Negotiate and close complex deals for consulting and permanent job orders.
  3. Create and deliver sales presentations.
  4. Network within the IT business community.
  5. Participate in business development events that relate to consulting and permanent job orders.
  6. Direct follow-up and manage on-going follow up with prospects.
  7. Prepare for sales calls, including coordination of the team selling effort.
  8. Detail oriented, strong analytical, numerical, planning and reasoning abilities.

We are a fourteen year old IT sourcing firm located in midtown Manhattan with headquarters in Melville Long Island.
We are a privately held multi-million dollar firm that is well funded and looking to grow the business aggressively.

Preferred traits include:
