Client Relationship Manager – IT / Technology Staffing Firm

OperationIT, a leading Information Technology staffing and consulting firm is searching for a Client Relationship Manager for our Corporate Office in Melville, NY.  This role is ideal for a senior IT recruiter or technical sales professional looking for the next evolution in IT staffing with a rapidly growing company.

This is a highly sales oriented and heavy client interaction position. We are looking for someone who is very technical who understands a wide array of technologies.

Your main responsibilities will include

  • Working with our offshore recruiting team to coordinate closing and submittal of qualified candidates to our clients
  • Working with our established clients as a liaison to assist through the hiring process
  • Recruiting and Sourcing for your own candidates for our open IT positions

Your responsibilities and background will include the following

IT Background:  A deep understanding of various technologies (Traditional IT, Creative & Enterprise). Broad technical overview on a wide range of domains, including and not limited to Systems and IT Infrastructure; Application Development and Frameworks; Creative Suites and Technologies; Enterprise Business Suites such as SAP, Oracle, Peoplesoft, JD Edwards, etc; Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing; CRM; SCM; SRM; HCM etc.

Client Liaison:  Coordinate with Clients to set up and facilitate the interviews, and on-boarding process.  Handle, investigate and resolve all inquiries pertaining to client orders and candidate requests.  Be highly motivated with good insight of client needs.

Liaison To Offshore Recruiting Team:  Screen and Validate prospective candidates that are submitted by offshore team for open requisitions.  Coordinate with offshore candidate sourcing team, to submit quality resumes to client requisitions.  Proven ability to work with others and assist others in the recruiting process.

Client Coordination:  Coordinate with Clients/Prospects to ensure they receive the best possible response to their orders, in terms of quality, pricing and timeliness.

Order Gathering:  Participate actively in requirement gathering sessions with management and/or account managers.

Client Relationship Skills:  A “Client First” mentality.  Client focused professional.

Recruiting Background:  Proven ability to source, screen and recruit IT professionals.  Get involved with hands-on recruitment whenever necessary.

Communication:  Clear effective oral and written communication skills.

Interact With All Levels:  Interaction with all levels of IT and HR professionals.  C-level and below.

Client Meetings:  Accompany management and/or sales team on client appointments

Team Player:  Be an effective team player while working in fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Other Details
